He died on 25 Jan 1814 in Windham County, Connecticut.

Captain Nathaniel Webb Jr. : He commanded a company in the Revolutionary War in the Fourth Connecticut Regiment, Commanded by Colonel John Durkee. Nathaniel was born 5 August 1737 in Windham, Windham County, Connecticut, the youngest child of Nathaniel Webb Sr. and Elizabeth Fitch. He was well educated, attended Yale College and was graduated in 1757. On 15 May 1767 he was married to Zerviah Abbe, daughter of Joshua Abbe, in Windham. They had six children (Henry b. 2 Sept 1768, Mary b. 23 Sept 1770, Ann b. 5 Nov 1772, Lucretia b. 8 May 1775, George Washington b.6 Aug 1779, & Charles Lee b.8 Oct 1781). He died 25 January 1814, aged 77 years, in Windham.

First service seems to be as Adjutant, from Windham, originally known as General Putnams Regiment of 1775, reorganized for Continental service in 1776 as the 20th Regiment Continental Infantry. Colonel John Durkee of Norwich was appointed to Command. The regiment was engaged at the Battle of Trenton 23 December 1776. Alternately listed as retired by consolidation on 1 June 1781. Also served as Adjutant in Colonel John Douglass Regiment (Connecticut) in 1776. ...he was at the Siege of Boston...

American Patriot, Samuel Adams, had Bachelor and Master Degrees from Harvard. He was friends with John Hancock, John Jay, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington - he nominated George Washington to head the Continental Army to unify the North Colonies with the South Colonies over John Hancock who wanted the job. He helped organize the Boston Tea Party. With his friend John Hancock and Thomas Jefferson was instrumental in getting the Bill of Rights in the Constitution to keep the Federal Government from having too much power over the States and Individuals. He was signer of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. He was a malster, tax collector, member Legislature, Lt. Govenor of Massachusetts in 1789 with John Hancock as Govenor until he was 77. His cousin and contemporary President John Adams called him an incorruptible integrity. He was for individual freedom with little government except by the people. He was short and plump and has an excellant statue in Dock Square, Boston.
